When a report is created – directly or as part of an order – it automatically inherits all classification attributes from the associated document. After that, the classification attributes on the report can be changed independently of the document.
How does report classification work?
When a report is created, all classification attributes are automatically copied from the document.
As long as no changes have been made to the report's classification attributes, any changes to the document will also be applied to the report.
Once the classification attributes on the report have been actively changed, they become fully independent of the document – subsequent changes to the document will no longer affect the report.
What applies to duplicated orders?
If an order containing reports with already-modified classification attributes is duplicated, those classification attributes remain as they were in the original order. They are not re-inherited from the document.
