Interaction: Classifier

Adding a selection list from existing class characteristics of a class for quick structuring of reports

Written by Tobias Bühner

Class characteristics help structure content in Operations1. This is useful not only for internal filtering and views, but also determines which content is relevant for external integrations or needs to be reported back to a leading system in a structured way. For reports, this structuring often has to happen during execution, since only then is the relevant information available. The Classifier interaction makes this simple and reliable.

Adding a Classifier Interaction

In the interaction menu, select “Classifier” to add this interaction to the document.

Next, select one of the existing classes. All characteristics of this class will then be available for selection in the report. After selecting a class, you can view the class characteristics defined for it in the editor.

During execution, the operator selects the relevant options. These are automatically added to the report. If an option is deselected again, Operations1 automatically removes it from the report.

In the interaction configuration, you define whether the selection is single-choice or multiple-choice. You also have the usual settings for required field, explanation, and N/A.
